Father Abraham Had Many Sons...

...and I'm glad I only have three!

Let me explain.  Lately, my 4 oldest children and I have been taking turns telling the younger children the Bible stories.  It's been a great experience thus far and it gives the older kids some practice teaching the Bible.

Anyway....

Today, I finished telling the story about Sodom & Gomorrah (with help from most of the kids who acted it out).  Because we've been talking about Abraham this week, Cassia suggested we sing "Father Abraham."  You know, "right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg...."  That one.  Always a bit dangerous with 7 kids, but always a fun song.

Today, I could barely sing or move my appendages for laughing so hard.  My two oldest sons, while doing "right arm, left arm" were moving their arms in a way so that they could flex & admire their biceps.

Seriously...only boys.

I don't have as many sons as Father Abraham.  It's a good thing.  I'd probably laugh myself silly.

Great photo!

Sons are definitely unique creatures. Which our mothers-in-law could probably tell us. My husband used to yawn and stretch and manage to flex a muscle doing it! :-)
